Cuttyhunk gets South Coast shops, salons, groomers and vets more walk-ins, bookings and repeat customers by fixing where people drift away: old hours, an empty chair nobody can book, and a website that sells nothing. Week one we find the leaks, month one we fix them, then we keep them fixed.
Where customers drift away
If you run a shop, a chair or a kennel, some of this will sound like you.
- “Someone drove here and the door was locked. Google said we were open.”
- “Saturday is booked solid. Tuesday afternoon is empty.”
- “People book the salon down the street because they can do it at midnight.”
- “The big box has it online with free shipping, and people forget we exist.”
- “Our best customers never hear from us unless they walk in.”
None of it is about your taste or your skill. People nearby decide from a search, a photo and a review, and pick whoever is open, easy to book or easy to order from. Every one of these leaks can be fixed.
How we fix it
Three stages, in this order. You see the plan before we touch anything, and everything we set up is in your name.
-
Week 1
Find the leaks
- We check your hours, products and services on Google, Apple Maps and Facebook against what is true today.
- We try to book, buy or reserve from a phone at 9 p.m. and write down where it breaks.
- You tell us your slow days, your best-selling item or service and the customers you love.
You get a one-page fix list in plain words, biggest leak first.
-
Month 1
Fix them
- Your Google profile rebuilt: hours, holiday hours, photos, services or products and a book or call button.
- Online booking, or a simple page with stock, directions and what is new this week.
- A review ask after every visit, and a way to get regulars onto a text or email list.
- For online sellers: a faster page, a cart recovery message and a restock alert.
You get all of it live, with logins you own.
-
Every month
Keep it working
- New photos of the work or the shelves, posted to your profile and your feed.
- Every review answered, from drafts you approve.
- Slow-day offers, rebooking and birthday nudges, and holiday pushes to your list.
You get a short monthly report: calls, bookings, visits, reviews, and what we changed.
Be open online, too.

What changes for you
We do not promise sales or bookings. Each month you see the real calls, bookings and visits next to last month’s.
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| Google says you are open, the door is locked, and the customer leaves a one-star. | The right hours, holiday hours included, everywhere. |
| The only way to book is to call during the workday. | Booking works at midnight, from a phone. |
| Regulars drift to whoever reminds them. | A rebooking nudge and a slow-day offer reach your list. |
| Reviews trickle in. | Every visit gets a polite ask, and every review gets an answer. |
| You cannot tell what a promotion did. | One page a month shows what brought people in. |
What you get, on a real phone

Questions owners ask
I sell mostly in person. Do I need an online shop?
Not always. Many shops only need accurate hours and stock on Google, a page that shows what is new, and a way to reach you. We will say so if an online store is not worth it for you.
How soon will I see more visits and bookings?
The text-back and the new pages work the day they go live. Google profile and listing changes can take weeks to show in search. We do not promise a number; every month you see the real visits and bookings next to last month’s.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Cuttyhunk is month-to-month. Everything we set up, including the site, the Google profile and the accounts, is in your name from day one, so you keep it if you leave.
Can you work with vets and groomers?
Yes. Pet parents check reviews and photos closely before they trust a new place, so the fixes are the same, with the review ask doing the most work.
Do you run my social media?
We can post for you from photos you send, with drafts you approve. We do not buy followers or fake engagement.
